Pom & Flora specialises in the weekend breakfast and likes to put a twist on your everyday classics. The menu consists of a range of fresh ingredients, including made-to-order smoothies, luxurious scrambled eggs and range of vegan and gluten-free options. If you ask a Stockholmer to recommend you a breakfast spot in the capital, Greasy Spoon will undoubtedly be on the list. The brunch chain has made a name for itself in recent years, cooking up a storm in terms of vegan alternatives for the full English, as well as indulgent fast-food alternatives. This place is a must, but make sure you turn up early to bag a table, in either their Södermalm or Odenplan branch.

Vete-Katten is your go-to breakfast spot if you're after a touch of tradition with your classic Swedish breakfast menu. The 1920s style diner serves a range of breakfast and brunch items, including pastries, sandwiches, yoghurt and fresh fruit. This cafe is a top pick if you're looking to go out for a civilised brunch with a friend or colleague, whilst you relish the traditional surroundings and decor.

Fabrique is a stone oven bakery that has various distributors across Stockholm, as well as many established outlets in London. They bake their bread and pastries fresh, daily which gives the shop a heavenly aroma as you walk in. Fabrique is the best place to go if you're looking to pick up a few kanelbullar or a loaf of sourdough to accompany your morning coffee. Fabrique has six locations across Stockholm.

Cosy Breakfast At Lilla Caféet On Söder

In the heart of Mariatorget lies this cute little cafe, but don't be fooled by its size - this cafe attracts hordes of people every day.

This cosy cafe is located just a stones throw from Mariatorget Tunnelbana, as well as a selection of pubs and restaurants in Maria's centre. Lilla Caféet på Söder boasts chic-retro decor with a selection of seating, both inside and outside on the terrace. Like any Söder hang-out, the cafe has a selection of vegan and gluten free options. Grab a morning Fika, or go full out with one of their quiches or salads.
